Shipping policy

1. Order Processing & Fulfillment

  • Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days.
  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing the following business day.
  • You will receive a confirmation email after placing your order and a shipping confirmation with tracking once your order has shipped.

2. Shipping Regions

Canada (Domestic Shipping)

We currently ship only within Canada.

  • Most orders are shipped in padded envelopes, which allows for fast and secure delivery.
  • A flat shipping rate of $9.99 applies to all domestic orders to the 10 provinces below the free-shipping threshold.
  • Delivery typically ranges from 3–10 business days, depending on location.
  • Deliveries to the Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories, or Nunavut, have a flat shipping rate of $50 and free shipping at $120.
  • Special delivery fees may apply to very isolated regions within the provinces. If this applies you will be given the choice of paying a slight surcharge or cancelling your order for a full refund.

United States

We do not ship to the United States at this time due to customs and brokerage constraints.
We are working on a compliant and cost-effective solution for the future.

Europe & Rest of World

International orders outside Canada and the U.S. are handled case-by-case.

3. Flat Rate Shipping & Free Shipping Threshold

To keep our shipping policy simple, predictable, and fair:

  • A flat shipping rate of $9.99 applies to all Canadian orders under the free-shipping threshold.
  • Free shipping is automatically applied to orders with a subtotal of $50 or more (after discounts, before taxes).
  • Certain promotions may apply at any given time and reduce the threshold or fees. Promotions supersede the numbers stated above.

If an item is returned and the adjusted order no longer meets the free-shipping threshold, the original shipping cost may be deducted from the refund (see Returns & Exchanges).


4. Taxes & Duties

  • Canadian sales tax is applied based on the shipping destination.
  • For any approved international shipment, the buyer is responsible for all import duties, VAT, and customs fees required by their country.

5. Order Issues & Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect:

  1. Contact us at webcontact@brecksinc.com within 7 days of delivery.
  2. Include photos of the item and the packaging.
  3. We will replace the item or issue a full refund at no cost to you.

6. Warranty

While our products are inherently consumables, we stand by the quality of our manufacturing processes and we know the real test happens on the water.  If you are dissatisfied with the quality of our lures after using them normally, please contact us and we'll try to help you within reason.  Of course fishing is inherently a complex activity and the fish have the final say, so we limit this policy to manufacturing quality and defects.  In other words "Caught less fish than my friend" is not a valid reason. Nice Try.
